In the Handspun Gallery of the Spring 2010 issue of Spin-Off, we’d like to showcase your versions of the Button-Up Neck Warmer that was published in the Summer 2009 issue of Spin-Off. We invite you to submit your scarves by November 9, 2009. See the attached pdf for details.

I am sending a photo of the 'Button-Up Neck Warmer' that I hope you will accept for submission.

I am sending yarn samples and written information via snail mail, postmarked November 9, 2009.  

Please find attached a photo of the neckwarmer.

Fiber: 100% Top Merino Wool, natural color, undyed.

Preparation: Combed Top

Wheel: Schacht, double tredle, hand made wheel.

Singles direction spun: Z

Number of plies: 2

Plied direction spun: S

Plied Wraps per inch: 12

Total yardage:150

Yards per pound: 440

Yards used: 138

Needles: U.S. size 9

Notions: three 7/8" button

Gauge: 5 sts and 6 rows = 1"

Finished size: 6-1/4" x 24-1/4"
