Welcome to all of you Spinners out there!

My name is Shay Black, and I am the Customer Support Manager here at Interweave.  I am excited that you all have this great new place to meet, and share ideas.  I am also excited that I have the opportunity to get to know you all and learn more about this wonderful craft!

I'm not currently a Spinner, but I find all of you talented people absolutely amazing!  You never know, maybe someday you will find a picture of me spinning away.  For now, since I don't have a great picture of myself like many others, I have chosen to share a picture of my favorite place, Bull Shoals Lake in Arkansas.  But, right now, you will find me here in good old Loveland, Colorado with my husband and three kids.

Enjoy the site, and let any of us know if we can be of any assistance to you!

Shay

Hi Shay - I am a keen spinner and dyer living in New Zealand.   What a great idea setting up this site.  I am looking forward to visiting regularly.

Hi Shay, I am so happy that there is a forum for Spinning.  I currently am on Ravelry for Knitting, which is wonderful, but am a newbie at the Spinning Wheel and can use all the help I can get.  This forum is just what I need.  A Great Big THANKYOU!

Hi I'm Laurie in Ontario Canada, LOVE SPIN OFF and the new site.  I'm a spinner, weaver, knitter, dyer, felter, hooker  just about anything that involves fibre and a fibre shop owner.  I'm looking forward to meeting lots other fibre friends new and old.

Sounds like you have a great job!  :)  Nice meeting you!  Hope you try out some spinning soon.  It can be addictive!

Hi Shay,

I'm a new spinner and I love all the information on this site! I read all the books I can but this collection of articles from Spin Off is a wonderful resource. Thanks for setting this up.

Andrea
