Fall is a season of wonderful holidays. Between beloved classics like Halloween and Thanksgiving and interactive spinning events such as Spinzilla, there's a lot to celebrate this season. And we have another fun holiday to tell you about today!
Saturday, October 17 is I Love Yarn Day, a celebration of all things yarn-related hosted by the Craft Yarn Council. The goal of I Love Yarn Day is for fiber enthusiasts to share their stories with the world--and hopefully encourage others to begin their own yarn journeys in knitting, crochet, spinning, and other crafts. Here are some things you can do to join in on the fun:
- Visit I Love Yarn Day on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and _Pinterest _to discover ways you can #stitchitforward
- Share your story about how you learned to spin, knit, or crochet on your blog and social media
Film a short video about why you love yarn, then share it online with the hashtags #ILYD2015 and #stitchitforward
