Join Team Spin-Offfor the first ever Spinzilla!
Get your spindles ready and fire up your favorite spinning wheel! The National NeedleArts Association (TNNA) Spinning & Weaving Group (SWG) are hosting a community-wide event, Spinzilla, during National Spinning and Weaving Week—October 7–13, 2013. Teams will compete in to see who can spin the most yarn in a one-week period. The winning team will be awarded the coveted Spinzilla trophy, an electronic badge you can wear proudly on your blog or Ravatar, and bragging rights for an entire year! Each team member will receive a $25 gift certificate from a prize sponsors. Team Spin-Off,will also have unique prizes and trophies. We will also help you maximize your spinning potential with informative blog posts for participants.
Spinners interested in joining can sign up August 15–September 23 at www.Spinzilla.org for a $10 fee.
Part of the proceeds will go to support spinning education through The Needle Arts Mentoring Program, which facilitates educational outreach for spinning and weaving groups.
