Spinning teacher Maggie Casey has been spinning and teaching for many years. She learned a lot through trial and error, and hopes to eliminate those problems for you with this video.

Lesson #1: Choose the right fiber Choosing the wrong fiber to use to spin into yarn for knitting and crochet projects can cause the finished projects to stretch and warp over time.

Lesson #2: Mix up your batts Spinning multiple different rounds of fibers can result in a mix match of colors. By mixing up the batts you have, your color will stay consistent in the yarn you spin.
