While Sandi Rosner’s original Millefiori pattern called for alternating “flowers” in solid colors, Pamela chose to alternate colors more frequently—both to create a shimmering dimensional effect and to make sure she didn’t run out of her naturally dyed handspun yarn. With the help of this coloring page, you can get creative with your own colorways.

You can find the pattern instructions in the Spin Off Fall 2025 issue, or here in our library.

About: Sandi Rosner (she/her) learned to knit in the late 1970s from the instructions in the back of a magazine. In 2010, she was seduced by the gift of a secondhand spinning wheel. Sandi now works as a freelance designer, technical editor, writer, and teacher. When she isn’t knitting or spinning, she usually has her nose in a book.
