Knitted in the round, this is a simple knit for a set of half-mitts designed by Diana Twiss. The decorative mock-rib surface design adds texture and elasticity to your handspun fabric.

Kim McKenna designed a tweed-effect four-ply yarn for her handspun version of this pattern. She spun singles in two shades of Shetland wool—moorit brown and nearly black with plum highlights. The other two singles were dyed blues carded into gently color-shifting blends.
