Deloa Granny-Square Bag

Granny squares are the perfect way to use up those short lengths of leftover handspun! They're ideal for mixing colors and textures, and the more random the colors, the better they look. Whether your scraps are neutral, colorful, wildly mismatched, or beautifully coordinated, they can all come together to create something unique. Rachel hopes you'll enjoy creating your own bag that showcases your skills and makes the most of your stash.

Materials
Fiber Nube 100% Merino roving (Malabrigo), Diana and Camaleon. Hand-dyed Bluefaced Leicester (Frabjous Fibers), Tallulah. Corriedale Natural Stripe (The Woolery), natural brown and white. Rosie’s Wool Cloud top, 100% wool (The Woolery), natural. Merino Confetti top (The Woolery). Bambino combed top, 85% Merino/15% viscose (Revolution Fibers). Corriedale roving (Ashford), Cookie, Butterscotch, Olive, and Marshmallow. Manx Loaghtan top (The Woolery), medium brown. Heinz 57 top, 100% wool (The Woolery). Pasture Cross #1 (Farm at the End of the Road). About 24 oz (681 g) total.
Yarn 2-ply or 3-ply worsted-weight (275 ypp; 8 wpi), natural (MC), about 200 yd; assorted colors, about 250 yd total. See Pattern Notes.
Crochet Hook Size H-8/5 mm. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Other Supplies Tapestry needle; cotton fabric for liner, 17" × 33" (optional but recommended).
Gauge One 4-round square measures 5" × 5".
Finished Size 16" × 16" with 1½" × 26" handles.
