LoginUsing unspun rolags to knit is a great introduction to spinning—carding and drafting fiber are some of the first steps in learning how to spin. This delightful baby hat uses five rolags each of three colors, plus one extra for the garter stitch edging. Each color band is knitted in six rounds.
See Carol's article in the Winter 2008 issue of Spin Off to learn more of the fundamentals of preparing rolags for knitting.
