I thought I would post a picture of a shawl I recently knit from "Knitted Lace Of Estonia" by Nancy Bush.  Fiber purchased from "A Verb For Keeping Warm", it is a 50/50 Yak/Silk fiber in colorway "This is a new day" spun for a  sturdy 2 ply lace weight on my Majacraft Rose. This is less substantial than the fingering weight yarn requested by the pattern but I choose to use the US 6 needles (Addi Lace needles) that was suggested by the pattern to keep the size of the shawl but a more open look.  The Nupps are not as obvious in this shawl and I'm not sure if that is a function of the color I choose or the fact that most of these Nupps are enclosed by the diamond shapes in the shawl. Still, Very pretty and warmer than you might expect.
